LAD is a uniform school
Remember to wear your uniform every day!
Navy Blue tops and Gray Pants.
We will not be selling uniforms at the school but are working on a partnership that will allow parents to purchase uniforms with the school log.

School Hours
Breakfast Grades K-5 @ 7:30am - 8:00am Monday- Friday (Door 5)
School starts: 8:00 a.m.
School day ends: 2:20 pm
Arrival@ 8:00am
- 3-K/ PreK: Annex Entrance (Rogers Place)
- K-5 (School Yard)
- Students are considered late after 8:10 am
Dismissal @ 2:20pm:
Grades K-5 in the big yard in designated areas.
3K- PreK - Door near stairs in the school yard (Rogers Place)
Breakfast:
7:30am - 8:00am
Lunch Schedule:
3K & Pre-k - Lunch in classrooms at 10:40am
Kindergarten - 3rd period (9:50 am - 10:35 am)
1st & 2nd Grade - 4th Period (10:40 am -11:30 am)
5th Grade - 5th Period (11:35 am - 12:25 pm)
3rd & 4th Grade - 6th Period (12:30 am - 1:20 pm)
*DHHES - 10:40 am - 11:30 am, 12:30 - 1:20pm
Welcome NY Edge
The Longwood Academy of Discovery welcomes NY Edge as our Community Based Organization (CBO). NY Edge will help support the LAD Community in partnership with the school principal and School Leadership Team (SLT). NY Edge will partner with LAD to support all children, their families, and school community to improve social emotional supports, academics, attendance, and community between families and school.
